Local Pilots, Civil Air Patrol Host Young Eagles Day At Los Alamos County Airport

Local pilots and aviation enthusiasts, in partnership with Los Alamos County Airport and Civil Air Patrol, recently hosted an engaging rally for Young Eagles Day. Young attendees had the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of aviation, interact with experienced pilots, and embark on private aerial tours of the region. With the aviation industry facing challenges from an aging workforce, this event aimed to spark passion and encourage the next generation to consider careers in aviation. If your kids are interested in attending one of these events, check youngeaglesday.org for nearby events and coordinators.
