Annual Los Alamos Ski Swap Is Oct. 21 At Los Alamos Middle School

The annual Los Alamos Ski Swap, hosted by the Los Alamos Ski Racing Club will take place at the Los Alamos Middle School on Saturday, Oct. 21 with important times to note. 

• 8:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. Equipment for public resale drop off. 

• 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Public Sales open. Come and purchase your new or swapped gear.

• Sunday, Oct. 22. 12:00 p.m. -3:00 p.m. Pick-up for unsold equipment and pick up payment for sold equipment 

• Special pre-sale access time for those who sign up and volunteer for the swap. Contact Tim  Brown tjbrown73@gmail.com to sign-up. 

The swap is the primary fundraiser for the Los Alamos Ski Racing Club (LASRC), a 501c3 non profit corporation that operates locally on Pajarito Mountain. LASRC provides ski and race  training to Los Alamos children of all ages. Several tiers of training are available via three  coaches. Levels range from teaching kids to be better skiers, to intense Rocky Mountain  Division – Southern Series race training.  

For new ski racers wanting to join, sign-up through the LASRC team app. Keep a look out for  an upcoming welcome to LASRC Zoom meeting soon. The first day of LASRC training begins  on January 6, 2024 either at Pajarito Mountain or Sipapu weather dependent.
