A Perfect Day For An Annular Eclipse

Peter and Sarah Work and their children watched the annular eclipse Saturday morning at Los Alamos High School. Unofficial estimates are that close to 1,000 people of al ages attended the event. Representatives of multiple organizations were on hand, including Los Alamos County Parks and Recreation, Bandelier National Monument, Manhattan Project National Historic Park, Pajarito Astronomers, PEEC, J. Robert Oppenheimer Memorial Committee, Los Alamos Public Library, Girl Scouts, LAHS Astronomy Club, Los Alamos Composite Squadron Civil Air Patrol, Eye Associates of New Mexico, LAHS Olions, LAHS DECA and many more.
