Los Alamos County hosted representative three Energy Communities Alliance (ECA) member communities Tuesday and Wednesday as part of a peer exchange program to discuss their common goals and interests related to the Department of Energy mission operations and legacy. The groups were from communities in the Savannah River Site area, the Washington Tri-Cities area and the Oak Ridge, Tenn. area. Also present were Los Alamos County Federal Committee members Councilors Denise Derkacs, Theresa Cull and Randall Ryti as well as County staff. The group attended a reception and a showing of the movie ‘Oppenheimer’ Wednesday evening at SALA sponsored by N3B-Los Alamos. Attendance at the week’s events was by invitation only.
