LAPS NEWS RELEASE

Los Alamos Public Schools had an issue with the fire alarm system at Mountain Elementary School last night. Unfortunately, our fire suppression system is not working. We are not allowed to have students in the building if the alarm system or fire suppression does not work. We have identified the problem and will work to get it fixed as quickly as possible. There will be NO school for Mountain Students on Friday, August 18. School will resume on Monday, August 21. School will take place as usual at all other school sites.
