Is your student interested in joining band this year? Then check out the Los Alamos Public Schools Elementary Bands Instrument Night this Thursday, Aug. 10. This event will be held from 4-7 p.m. in the Los Alamos Middle School Cafeteria.

Local vendors Hanneman Music and Rob Dunham with Reprise Music will be on site to help students.

Fifth grade students have an opportunity to join band this year. If your student has not been fitted for an instrument or would like to be refitted come to this night. Students in grades 6-12 who are ready for an upgrade for their instrument are also welcome to come to this event and see what might be available.

Other important information about Elementary Bands Instrument Night:

• If your student still does not have an instrument or book, please come to this event.
• If your student will be playing euphonium or french horn, your instrument is a school rental and we will have those available at their elementary school.
• If your student will be renting a school instrument from us, please make sure you have filled out this form to reserve an instrument.
• If you have already reserved or purchased your student’s instrument and supplies, you will not need to attend this event.
