Try Hockey For Free With New Mexico Mustangs Girls Hockey Team

The New Mexico Mustangs Girls Hockey Association is hosting a try-hockey-for-free program for girls only, ages 5 (birth year 2018) to 14 (birth year 2009). The program will include skating instruction and hockey skills development by USA Hockey-certified coaches. New Players will have the opportunity to skate alongside current Mustangs hockey players.

There are three “Girls Try Hockey for Free” sessions. Registration is required for each session. Feel free to register for more than one session.

The Mustangs will provide hockey equipment for loan for the Girls Try Hockey Free Program sessions, and we will do gear fitting prior to the first session of each weekend. We have a limited amount of gear, so registration is limited to 30 players per weekend.

In Albuquerque, at Outpost Ice Arena there is Friday, August 11, and August 25. Arrive by 6:15 pm for gear fitting; on ice 7:00 -8:00 pm.

In Santa Fe, at Genoveva Chavez Community Center you can come on Friday, August 18. Arrive by 6:30 pm for gear fitting; on ice 7:15 – 8:15 pm.
