Los Alamos Public Schools Supt. Jennifer Guy, along with Piñon Elementary School  Principal Ivanna Austell and Asst. Principal Jennifer Kieltyka, along with representatives from Dekker Perich Sabatini Architects and Jaynes Corporation broke ground to start construction of the new Piñon Elementary School earlier this month. “We are so excited to get this construction project underway,” Supt. Guy said. “This new school building will benefit our students and our community, and we thank everyone for their continued support of Los Alamos Public Schools.” LAPS School Board members, Piñon Elementary School staff, Los Alamos County staff, County Council members, and White Rock residents were also in attendance.
