STEP UP GALLERY NEWS RELEASE

Mesa Public Library is hosting an art exhibit titled Artomicon in the Step Up Gallery at Mesa Public Library in Los Alamos in conjunction with Artomicon, the library system’s popular new annual event celebrating comics, fandom, science-fiction, fantasy, board games, and more. In 2023  Atomicon is scheduled for Aug. 5 at Mesa Public Library and Fuller Lodge in Los Alamos.  The art exhibit will run from July 13 – Aug. 5 in Step Up Gallery on the third floor of Mesa Public Library.  Artists with a comic spark inside them are invited to submit art to this non-juried show by July 1. 

Library staff are looking for original art inspired by comics, sci-fi, fantasy, video games and fan-based art from artists from Los Alamos and the surrounding northcentral region of New Mexico. All ages are welcome to submit their art. If you wish to submit your original art inspired by comics, sci-fi, fantasy, video games and fan-based art to ARTOMICON, please carefully fill out the form.  Artists may submit up to five pieces.
