‘Oppenheimer Conversations’ Fundraiser For Los Alamos Historical Society Draws 100+ Supporters

More than 100 people attended “Oppenheimer Conversations” a special fundraiser hosted by the Los Alamos Historical Society Tuesday evening at Fuller Lodge to raise funds for the renovation and preservation of the Oppenheimer House.

The event featured Kai Bird, author of “American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer”, the book on which the upcoming “Oppenheimer” movie is based. and Tim Reiser, the U.S. Senate staffer who was deeply involved in the restoration of Oppenheimer’s security clearance. Moderator for the talk was Brye Steeves, Director of the Los Alamos National Security Research Center. Watch the Los Alamos Reporter for more news on this event.
