VFW Post 8874 is hosting his year’s Memorial Day May 29 at 11am at Guaje Pines Cemetery. The Guest Speaker will be LTC Daniel J. Griego, US Army National Guard. The state proclamation will be read by District 43 State Rep. Christine Chandler and the Los Alamos County proclamation will be read by County Council Chair Denise Derkacs. The invocation and benediction will be delivered by Fr. John Daniel, Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, and Corina Gonzales (VFW Trustee) will be the master of ceremonies.
