LAPS Supt. Jennifer Guy Says The World Will Be A Better Place Because Of The Class Of 2023

BY JENNIFER GUY

Los Alamos Public Schools

To the Class of 2023,

I am honored to congratulate the Class of 2023 on your graduation. I am looking forward to seeing the amazing things you accomplish in the future. You are bright, enthusiastic, kind, and caring. You have worked hard to get to this point and should be proud of all you have accomplished.

I have had the pleasure of watching many of you learn and grow  since kindergarten. In elementary school, you learned to read, write, and explore the world. In middle school, you learned to navigate social experiences, try different things, and make new friends. In high school, you discovered new interests, developed your talents, and found your passions.

You have become amazing young adults ready to take on the world. You will all take different paths as you move forward but know that every path and every experience you have is important. You make a difference by just being yourself. My wish for you is to find something that gives your life purpose and meaning. Something that makes you happy.

I hope as you leave high school and head off to your next adventures that you keep your experiences at Los Alamos High School in your heart just as we hold each of you in ours. Be kind to others and be kind to yourself! Try new things! Embrace the challenges you face and expect to make mistakes. Those are the moments that you learn the most. I hope that you find love, laughter, and a little excitement. I am confident that the world will be a better place because of the Class of 2023.

Best wishes!
