Happening This Week At SALA….

SALA, the renowned Los Alamos Event Center, is thrilled to unveil its upcoming events for the week. With the highly anticipated showing of “Oppenheimer After Trinity” taking center stage as one of the most demanded events, SALA continues to offer a diverse range of programs to cater to everyone’s interests.

Commencing on Wednesday, May 24, SALA will host the final audition for “Los Alamos Got Talent!!!” This represents the last opportunity for aspiring young talents to become part of this exciting and fun-filled talent show. Additionally, SALA is pleased to offer the After-School program from 1 pm to 5 pm and the After-Work program from 5 pm to 9 pm.

On Thursday, May 25, prepare to be captivated by the best SALA has to offer. Join us for the screening of “Oppenheimer After Trinity,” a captivating documentary that has had a profound impact on Los Alamos. Don’t miss your chance to witness this remarkable film; a limited number of tickets are still available for the 4 pm and 6:30 pm showings. In addition, SALA will be presenting “Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3” at 3 pm and 6 pm, and the Parallel Cinema program will host a special Talk centered around the theme “Mental Health Matters.” This event is entirely free and is a collaboration with Los Alamos Public Schools and JJAB.

As we move into Friday, May 26, prepare to embark on a new cinematic adventure as SALA presents the movie “Dungeons and Dragons.” Showings will take place at 3 pm and 6 pm. Additionally, “Oppenheimer After Trinity” will be screened at 4 pm and 6:30 pm, and attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy drinks from the Bathtub Row Brewery.

Saturday, May 27, promises to be another exciting day at SALA. More showings of “Dungeons and Dragons” will be held at 3 pm and 6 pm, followed by additional screenings of “Oppenheimer After Trinity” at 4 pm and 6:30 pm. The Tub will be serving drinks throughout the day. Moreover, SALA’s Classics program, themed “A Memorial Day Marathon” and sponsored by Wiemann Wealth Strategies, will present the film “Hacksaw Ridge” at 6 pm.

Finally, on Sunday, May 28, SALA will conclude the week with more showings of “Dungeons and Dragons” at 3 pm and 6 pm, as well as the final screenings of “Oppenheimer After Trinity” at 4 pm and 6:30 pm.
