Los Alamos High School Graduating Senior Olivia Long To Attend St. John’s College This Fall

Los Alamos High School graduating senior Olivia Long is a member of the National Honor Society, the Bel Canto Choir and Olions theatrical group.  She has performed leading roles in LAHS performances, including Les Miserables (Fantine); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Bottom) and most recently in the role of Leading Player in Pippin, for which she received the New Mexico Enchantment Awards nomination as Best Actress. 

Olivia is also a member of Young Voices of the Santa Fe Opera and is a 2023 recipient of the YVSFO Kathleen Clawson Award. 

Additionally, she received the 2023 Gold Key Award presented by the New Mexico Art Education Association for her painting, “Allumette.”

She holds a leadership position in the Olions theater group where she serves as Treasurer, Board Member and as the head of marketing for all the shows since 2021.

Olivia will attend St. John’s College at their Santa Fe campus this fall with plans to later transfer to the Annapolis campus.  She is the recipient of St. John’s four-year Presidential Scholarship.  She plans to further her interests in music and theater through Santa Fe community and professional organizations. Olivia is the daughter of Ron and Celina Long.
