
The League of Women Voters Los Alamos hosted dozens of delegates April 27-30 for the annual LWV State Convention, convening at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Hall. The weekend’s activities included a reception Friday evening at the home of a local League member, a welcome message by Los Alamos County Council Chair Denise Derkacs, a forum on the recent legislative session with Rep. Christine Chandler, a hike led by Jean Dewart and a five-course dinner at Pig+Fig Cafe in White Rock where the guest speaker was State Land Land Commissioner Stephanie Garcia Richard.
