Eliana Rodriguez traveled to Houston, Tex. this weekend to represent New Mexico and Los Alamos School of Gymnastics in the Region 3 Gymnastics Championships. There were 1,600 Xcel Gold level gymnasts competing from the 7 states in Region 3. Rodriguez, a freshman at Los Alamos High School, has been a gymnast at LASG for nearly a decade. She said her accomplishments in Houston “made all of the years of hard work worth it!”  She competed in the Gold Senior division, and besides being first place on the vault, she took sixth with a 9.475 on floor, eighth on beam, 14th on bars and 10th in the all around.
