Rep. Christine Chandler Shares Successes, Challenges Of Legislative Session With Local Rotarians

 

New Mexico State Representative Christine Chandler spoke at the April 25 meeting of the Rotary Club of Los Alamos.  During her presentation she shared the successes and challenges of the recent 60-day legislative session. Rep. Chandler is completing her third term as Representative for House District 43, which includes all of Los Alamos County and parts of Sandoval and Santa Fe Counties.  She currently chairs the House Judiciary Committee and is a member of the House Tax Committee. Prior to her election to the New Mexico legislature, Rep. Chandler was a Los Alamos County Councilor and served as the County probate judge.  She is retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory, having worked in the Office of the General Counsel.  Chandler has lived in Los Alamos more than 25 years and is married to George Chandler.  Photo by Linda Hull
