DOE-EM And N3B Hold Hybrid Community Meeting This Evening, April 12, To Discuss LANL Legacy Environmental Cleanup

N3B NEWS RELEASE

The Department of Energy’s Environmental Management Los Alamos Field Office and its legacy environmental cleanup contractor, N3B Los Alamos, are hosting a hybrid community meeting from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. MT, Wednesday, April 12, at the Los Alamos County Municipal Building and using the Webex platform. 

The event will feature discussions on the Environmental Management mission at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), recent progress and future cleanup priorities. This meeting will focus on Material Disposal Area H, which was a Cold War-era waste disposal site.

The community discussion will provide an opportunity for public input and questions on legacy cleanup activities. Community members who are interested in environmental cleanup at LANL and would like to learn more are invited to attend the meeting.
