PAC 8 NEWS RELEASE

The Summer Youth Film Intensive will be held July 5-7, 10-14, & 17-21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. this year. Started in 2021, this 3-week program will take participants through all of the steps in the process of creating an original short film– screen writing, camera operation, production planning and location shooting, acting for film, videography and editing, drone videography, make-up and numerous other aspects of the film process. Students will write, produce, and star in multiple original short films for entry in a statewide youth film contest.

The program is a collaboration between the Teen Center, PAC 8, Youth Activity Center, & Fuller Lodge Art Center. It is being made possible by generous donations and a grant from the Delle Foundation. It will take place at PAC 8 Media Center & Los Alamos Teen Center and is open to 12 youth ages 13 – 18. The link to register is here: https://forms.gle/kEStCzcNCRrgQZBC6
