Obituary: Betty Ann Armijo – Mar. 11, 2023

Mrs. Betty Ann Armijo passed away into eternal peace March 11, 2023. Betty Ann was a life long resident of El Rancho, New Mexico.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Mr. Benny Armijo of 55 years, her only child Alex Armijo – Alexander, loving fur babies Chuy, Pinion, Gemma, Peaches, Lady Blue, Rox, Blackie, and Jay T.

She is preceded in death by her parents Emmit and Sue Alexander, In Laws Ben and Regina Armijo, very special cousins Shiela Ewy, Jane Bussell and Dorothy Garcia. Also surviving her are very special sisters in law Juanita Armijo and partner Doug Tuggle, Maggie Sanchez, Sadie Armijo, Lucille and husband Marvin Armijo, Valerio and Bella Armijo, her brother Richard Alexander and partner Rebekkah, and very dear lifelong friends Nora Trujillo and husband Herman, Arnold Gabaldon, Aniver Roybal and Luis Roybal.

Betty was a very charismatic woman, her Catholic faith was very important to her. She loved watching her daily Mass and praying the Rosary every day, all of which was a great comfort for her.

Rosary will be on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 9:30 am at Our Nuestra Senora De Guadalupe Parrish in Pojoaque, NM. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at El Campos Santo Cemetery in El Rancho, NM.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearer is her Godson Mr. M.J. Armijo.
