LOS ALAMOS MAKRES NEW RELEASE

Got a thing you want to fix? Want to learn or improve your skills in woodworking, 3D printing, sewing, or DNA sequencing? Los Alamos Makers is holding an open house on Tuesday, February 21, 6-8 pm. at 3540 Orange Street in Los Alamos. Come check out what we offer, including workspace, tools, and mentors.

Members have 24/7 access to the space and programs for as little as $30/month. We have a fully equipped wood shop, sewing stations, biotech lab, 3D printers, computers, classroom, and more. We host programs for all ages, and members can host their own sessions on whatever tickles their fancy. Some programs, like the CoderDojo kids’ programming club and other meetups, are free and open to non-members.

We are a 501c3 non-profit supported primarily by memberships, donations, and grants. Some members have donated scholarships for financially challenged individuals and families. So if you want to get into DIY or just want to meet other DIYers, join us at 3540 Orange St on Tuesday, February 21, 6-8 PM, or visit losalamosmakers.org.
