The Los Alamos Reporter has requested records from Los Alamos Police Department for a December 5, 2020 incident in Los Alamos involving a Santa Fe Police officer that was discussed in a column by Milan Simonich in Friday’s Santa Fe New Mexican. Simonich’s column alleges that LAPD officers exhibited “extraordinary leniency” towards Santa Fe Police Department Officer Laura Gluvna. Although many details are published in column, the LAPD press report for that date says only, “Disagreement between couple” and “DV No Charges”.

LAPD Chief Dino Sgambellone and Deputy Chief Oliver Morris were both out of town Friday. The Reporter expects to receive the records requested early in the new year.
