LAPS NEWS RELEASE

Students enrolled in Preschool programs at Chamisa and Piñon Elementary Schools, and their families, are invited to attend A Night on the Polar Express on Wednesday, Dec. 7. The program will start at 4:30 pm in the gymnasium at Piñon Elementary School.

The focus of the evening is math and literacy, with activities involving counting, numerals, letter naming and phonological awareness. The program was held at the Los Alamos Elementary Schools last month.

This is the first of four events to be held during the school year.

The PreK programs at the White Rock school sites currently enroll 60 students.
