The First Annual Ornament-A-Looza kicks off the season Black Friday morning at Little Studio on the Mesa with a chance to make fused glass ornaments throughout the day. Joanne Kozuchowski will have some ornament designs cut and ready for assembly and customization or people can create their own designs. All ages are welcome.

On Saturday, Nov. 26, which is Small Business Saturday, visit the studio and shop tax free. The studio will again be participating in the Chamber of Commerce Blue Bucks promotion, which gives shoppers a chance to win the following prizes courtesy of Enterprise Bank & Trust:

One $1,000 cash prize
One $500 cash prize
Two $250 cash prizes
Gift certificates or merchandise from participating businesses. The business that gives out the $1,000 winning ticket will also receive $1,000.

There are some spots left in the Small Stained Glass Class Saturday, Nov. 26 and the Intro to Fused Glass Class On Sunday, Nov. 27. Register under the Classes Tab at littlestudioonthemesa.com. There will be no stained glass classes in December, however in January there will be classes that feature new designs.

Little Studio on the Mesa will present the last Paint Night of the year on Monday, Nov, 28 at Bathtub Row Brewing Co-Op. No need to register, just show up. Items will be available onsite to paint and they will be fired in White Rock and ready to pick up within a week.

On Tuesday, Nov, 29, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. the studio will host a card making session for all ages. Supplies will be provided and participants can craft holiday cards using a variety of fun paper designs, punches and other embellishments. Send your children with addresses and the studio will even mail the cards for you. The cost is $10 for a set of five cards, $12 if postage is required.

Visitors can go to Little Studio on the Mesa Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 and “Elf Yourself”. No registration is required. Supplies will be provided for participants to create a 12-inch paper doll featuring their own face. Photos can be printed onsite, no need to provide your own. Cost is $5 per elf.

On Saturday, Dec, 3, the studio will hold an ornament painting session at SALA Events Center (former Reel Deal location. Ornaments will be available for painting and cost $8 each. This will be part of SALA’s PJs and Cartoons movie morning. The ornaments will be fired and ready to pick-up at the studio in White rock or on Dec. 10 at SALA.

Little Studio on the Mesa will be closed Dec. 3 so that Joanne can attend performances by “two kids in two towns”. The studio is located at 113 Longview in White Rock.
