San Ildefonso is seeking the first Executive Director to manage the newly-formed San Ildefonso Housing Authority (SIHA), In its first year of operation, SIHA already has a next year budget of $5 million for new housing and rehabilitation projects.  The organization has 49 units of HUD assisted family housing under management.

The Executive Director will responsible for the overall management of the San Ildefonso Housing Authority (SIHA) in accordance with HUD/NAHASDA Regulations and the Ordinance, Policies, and Procedures of the Authority.  Reporting to the SIHA Board of Commissioners, job responsibilities include developing housing plans, policies, procedures, and programs; preparing and managing budgets; raising funds; administering federally-compliant procurement and contract administration activities; hiring qualified staff support, maintaining good working relations with client groups, and overseeing personnel in charge of financial and housing management operations.
