The resignation of School Board member Erin Green is listed on the Los Alamos School Board agenda for Thursday evening as well as an action item for the board to decide on a process to use for her replacement.
The Los Alamos Reporter reached out to Green by email but did not receive a response. There is no letter included in the agenda package for the meeting. Asked for a copy of the resignation, LAPS officials responded that there is no formal letter and that Green would speak at this evening’s meeting.
Green was appointed to the board in July 2021 to represent the Mountain Elementary School area. She replaced Dawn Jalbert who retired from the board. Green then ran for office and was elected to serve starting January 2022.
