
Since September 2021, KokHeong McNaughton has been offering a once-a-month Asian cooking classes on Zoom on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 5 p.m. These classes are free and opened to the public. You may choose to cook along with her or watch while she cooks. Classes have been recorded for those who cannot attend, and posted on her YouTube channel. An email with ingredient list and instructions will be sent out a week before the class. The next class will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 22 and she’ll show you how to make a black sesame treat in time for Thanksgiving. Black sesame seeds are associated with the Kidney and Liver meridians in Traditional Oriental Medicine and tonifies these organs.
