WIPP NEWS RELEASE

On Monday, Oct. 24 at 5 p.m., the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) Community Forum will return to northern New Mexico and Pojoaque Pueblo where DOE Carlsbad Field Office Manager Reinhard Knerr and NWP President and Project Manager Sean Dunagan will provide a short project update and open up the meeting for an expanded Q&A question session.

A WIPP truck with empty transportation casks will be parked outside the venue so stakeholders can see, first hand, the built in safety components of the WIPP Transportation System.
