COUNTY NEWS RELEASE
To keep construction crews and the public safe during the demolition of the Hilltop House, a lane closure, sidewalk closure and detour will be in place near the roundabout on NM502 and Trinity Drive, on Saturday, October 22 from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Motorists traveling westbound on NM 502 will follow a short detour on Central Ave. and use Knecht St. or 15th St. to access Trinity Drive. While motorists traveling eastbound can use Knecht St. or 15th Street to access Central Avenue then continue to NM 502. Sidewalks on the north side of Trinity Drive between the roundabout and DP Road will also be closed for pedestrian safety.
Access to businesses and DP Road will be maintained.
Motorists approaching the roundabout from all directions should use caution, pay attention to roadway signs approaching and within the work zone.
