Join SALA on Saturday. Oct. 22 as we bid farewell to the Reel Deal Theater and unveil the future plans for the treasured four-plex theater.

Schedule of events:

11:00 a.m.: Panelist discussion covering the history of cinema in Los Alamos and the future of the Reel Deal Theater. We have invited Leslie Wageman (Los Alamos Historical Society), Sammi Owens (LA Angels Investors), Mary Anne Beard (Reel Deal Theater), Jim O’Donnell (Reel Deal Theater), and Allan Saenz (SALA Event Center) to share ideas and answer questions. Tune in to hear stories about past theaters on the Hill and to hear all about the future vision of SALA Event Center. This discussion will be available to stream via Zoom.

Following the panelist discussion we will show the Lord of the Rings Trilogy in order. All are welcome to join for free. Stop by for your favorite movie or come to see all three! Refreshments will be sold in the lobby.
