Natasha Ruffin and her husband Henry are hosting the Rocky Road To Enchantment Donation Drive from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Urban Park in Los Alamos to benefit the Rocky Road to Enchantment Animal Sanctuary. The Espanola couple is just starting out on their venture to help animals and have communicating with folks in Los Alamos about holding their event.

“Our goal is to provide a loving and safe home for as many animals to live out the rest of their lives in peace,” Ruffin said.

Sunday afternoon’s event will include free face painting, free food and a photographer taking photos, she said.

“We are accepting all donations. We are accepting items and services to be auctioned off at the silent auction.  We will also be accepting cash donations through CashApp. Each cash donation will receive a gift. There are a ton of items such paintings, other types of wall decor and calendars that will be given as gifts for donations,” Ruffin said. “The silent auction will have services (pet waste removal, carpet cleaning, an in home yoga class, a personal training package), and other items. The winners will be announced at the end of the event. We are a not-for-profit, which means that 100% of all donations and 100% of the money brought in by the auction goes directly to helping animals.”
