Five Los Alamos Young Guns athletes traveled to Aztec to compete in the October 1-2 First New Mexico High School Clay Target Association Zone 1 Competition of the season.

Kadin Hansel took second in both Intermediate Male Singles and Handicaps, and third in Doubles Intermediate Male.

Matthew Nowell took first in Varsity Male Sporting Clays, second in Varsity Male Skeet and third in Varsity Male Doubles Skeet.

Gavin Robles took first in Varsity Male Handicap, third in Varsity Male Doubles, first in Varsity Male Doubles Skeet, second in Varsity Male Skeet and third in Varsity Male Sporting Clays. 

Ana Schmitz took High Over All Female, first in Varsity Female Singles and Handicap and second in Varsity Female Doubles.

Alyssa Vigil, took first in Varsity Female Doubles, second in Varsity Female Singles and Handicap. First in Varsity Female Skeet, Doubles Skeet and Sporting Clays.

Coach Vernon Vigil won Coaches Challenge after a five way tie.
