Bathtub Golf Tournament Start Time Updated To 1 P.M. Friday

On Friday, Oct. 7, Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op is hosting a charity golf tournament at Los Alamos County Golf Course, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. This event is their second relief effort for Ukraine, following a Ukrainian Beer Dinner held on Aug. 28 and catered by Jessica Martinez and Pajarito Brewpub & Grill. Registration is available at until Thursday, October 6 11:59pm.

All proceeds from the dinner and golf tournament will go toward purchasing medical packs to put in the hands of first responders in Ukraine. Santa Fe Fire Department firefighter Rollin Tylerr Jones has been integral in bringing awareness to this effort and demonstrating the function and need for the medical packs. Specifically, the kits carried by soldiers in Ukraine are missing three very important tools, which will be included with the medical kits Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op sends:

  1. QuikClot kits– gauze and powder that are hemostatic agents, helping stop bleeding wounds immediately.
  2. Trauma shears– helps remove tactical gear quickly without further injuring the soldier.
  3. QR Code patch on all kits– will direct soldiers to YouTube videos on all wound treatment/war trauma care.

Following the tournament, Muy Salsas will be providing food at Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op, where DK & The Affordables will also be playing.

“Just come play golf. Come have a great time and help us save lives,” says Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op General Manager, Doug Osborn.
