October is the time to “put the garden to bed” for Winter. At the Monday, Oct. 10 meeting of Summit Garden Club, Bob Pennington, founder of Agua Fria Nursery in Santa Fe will speak on fertilizing, mulching, watering, weeding and pruning in Fall. He will also answer questions on all aspects of gardening.
The meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the White Rock Community Garden, which is across from the Visitor Center along State Road 4 and will be open to the public. Seating is available. Due to COVID, refreshments will consist of bottled drinks and individually wrapped snacks.
