Local Law Firm Seeks Part-Time Bookkeeper


Part-time Bookkeeper for the Philip J Dabney PC, Law Firm is seeking a part-time bookkeeper to join their staff. To assist the firm in organizing, maintaining, and accounting of all bookkeeping  duties necessary to ensure accurate accounting and transparency of financial  positions and key metrics.  

– Create monthly invoices and statements for clients 

– Accounts Payable/Receivable responsibilities – client payments, operating  expenses (utilities, insurance, rent, etc.) 

– Payroll Processing 

– Make trips to the bank for deposits 

– Post transactions to Quickbooks Desktop – client information, credit card charges, checks, etc. 

– Record accurate billable time for client’s work. 

– Organize client’s files 

– Maintain bank accounts, credit card accounts, and Client trust accounts.

– Reconcile both bank account and credit card statements 

– Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports 

– Assist Firm Administrator as needed 

∙ Must be detail oriented, experienced in bookkeeping.  

∙ Must have good customer service skills. 

∙ The job requires substantial experience working with Quickbooks.
