Michaela McKamey was the best predictor in the weekly pace race held on the Lower Water Canyon Trail off State Route # 4 at 6 seconds off her predicated time. Other accurate predictors were: Lindsay O’Brien with a 12 second differential; Sean Thomas recording a 18 second difference as well as the first finisher in the 1 mile distance with a time of 8:24; Jan Velechovsky with a 33 second differential; and Zeke Wilmot at 42 seconds off.
Priscila Rosa was the best female finisher on the 1 mile course recording a 9:49.
In the 3 mile distance Sasha Tamalak was the top finisher at 25:14.
Next week’s run will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 6:00 p.m. near the bottom of Main Hill Road (NM State Route # 502) and can be gotten to by taking a left just before the the NM State Route # 4 junction off Main Hill Road. The race will start at the beginning of the road to the pollution control plant in Bayo Canyon. 1 and 3 mile runs will be available.
