Boese Brew Co will celebrate Oktobe(e)rfest from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23 and 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Ashley Pond in Los Alamos the only way they know; with great beers, delicious food, and lots of music. The Friday night kickoff concert will feature local favorites Bathtub Row Brewing, the Long Pour, and Boese Bros Brewpub with local food vendors. The brewfest on Saturday will feature five breweries, even more food vendors, along with three great bands.
“We have always dreamt of throwing an Oktoberfest party this size since we hosted our first celebration seven years ago,” says George Boese, co-owner of Boese Brew Co, “we’re excited to partner with a handful of local favorites and provide an incredible experience for the people of Los Alamos.”
There will be beer, cider, and spirits from Boese Brew Co, Bathtub Row Brewing, Santa Fe Brewing Company, Tractor Brewery, and Sidetrack Brewery. Food will be provided by Bob’s Bodacious BBQ, Senor Tortas, and Boese Bros Brewpub.
Friday’s (Sept. 23) music starts with The Gary Blackchild & The Ghost Train playing from 5:30 pm until 7:30 p.m. and finishes with Los Alamos favorite Igor and the Red Elvises playing from 8:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Saturday (Sept. 24) starts with Swing Time Polka from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm, DK and the Affordables from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, and finishes with Katy P and the Business from 8:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Gates open at 5:00pm on the Friday and 2:00pm on the Saturday.
Pre-order tickets for Friday’s kick-off concert are $10 for 21+, $5 for 10-20 year olds, and kids under 10 get in free. Tickets for the brewfest on Saturday are $25 and include a commemorative pint glass and free tastings. Once again, Saturday tickets will be $5 for 10-20 year olds and kids under 10 will again get in free.
