The Portal Gallery at Fuller Lodge Art Center has come alive with birds, moths, slugs, and insects in this solo exhibit by local artist Jocelyn Warner.

Inspired by nature, Jocelyn uses a combination of stains, oxides, embossing tools, photography, and image transfer techniques to create layered surface designs onto her ceramic pieces.  Each piece is then fired three or four times to achieve the desired results. Some of her pieces even hold living air plants! The exhibit goes through Sept. 24. Be sure to stop by and see what all the “buzz” is about!
