Celebrate bear month with The Pajarito Environmental Education Center and the Land of Enchantment Wildlife Foundation by attending Bears, Beers, and Bites 6-8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 27 at the Los Alamos Nature Center.
This event will give you the opportunity to learn about black bears and eat like them too, with hors d’ oeuvres inspired by the diet of a bear from Jesica Roberts, Personal Caterer, as well as a talk given by wildlife veterinarian, Dr. Kathleen Ramsay. Each attendee also will receive two drink tickets for beer or wine from Bathtub Row Brewing Coop.
This event is zero-waste to focus on reducing waste and making a better environment for our local bears, us, and the planet. Registration is required for Bears, Beers, and Bites, tickets are $30 for PEEC members and $40 for non-members.
