Girls, come try ice hockey for free!

The New Mexico Mustangs Girls Hockey Team invites all girls ages 6 (birth year 2016) to 14 (birth year 2008). The program will include skating instruction and hockey skills development by USA Hockey-certified coaches. New players will have the opportunity to skate alongside current Mustangs hockey players.

The Mustangs will provide hockey equipment for loan for the Girls Try Hockey Free Program sessions, and we will do gear fitting prior to the first session of each weekend. We have a limited amount of gear, so registration is limited to 30 players per weekend.

There are three “Girls Try Hockey for Free” weekends. Registration is required for each weekend. Feel free to register for more than one weekend.

Girls Try Hockey Weekend #1:
Albuquerque – Outpost Ice Arena – Friday, Aug 26 – 6:30pm – 7:30pm (Gear Fitting at 5:30pm)
Albuquerque – Outpost Ice Arena – Saturday, Aug 27 – 9:00am – 10:00am 

Girls Try Hockey Weekend #2:
Albuquerque – Outpost Ice Arena – Friday, Sept 9 – 6:30pm – 7:30pm (Gear Fitting at 5:30pm)
Albuquerque – Outpost Ice Arena – Saturday, Sept 10 – 9:00am – 10:00am

Girls Try Hockey Weekend #3:
Santa Fe – Genoveva Chavez Community Center – Friday, Sept 16 – 7:45pm – 8:45pm (Gear Fitting at 6:45pm)
Santa Fe – Genoveva Chavez Community Center – Saturday, Sept 17- 9:45am – 10:45am
