Cliff Stanley was the best predictor in the weekly pace race held at the North Mesa Picnic Grounds at 6 seconds off his predicted time. Other accurate predictors were: 11 year old Levi Gibson with a 9 second differential; 12 year old Zach Gibson recording a 15 second difference; Chris Michel at 22 seconds off; and Katie Gattiker with a 26 second differential.
In the 1 mile distance 10 year old Luke Gibson was the top finisher with a time of 6:44 and 11 year old Morgan Treat recorded a 10:54 for first female finisher.
Travis Gibson was the best finisher on the 3 mile course at 19:11 and Lynn Bjorklund had a time of 25:19 for top female finisher.
Next week’s race will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 9 at 6:00 p.m. starting at Fireman’s Park on the corner of 45th Street and Arizona Avenue. 1 mile paved and 3 mile trail runs will be available.
