
Saturday is Culture Day at the Rio Arriba County Fair with entertainment from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the fairgrounds on State Route 554 near Abiquiu.
Schedule of events:
10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. – Hoop Dancing by Jojo Romero, Pueblo of Pojoaque & Nambe Pueblo
11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – Music by Antionette Lucero
11:35 a.m to 11:55 a.m. – Butterfly Dance by Popay’s Pueblo Dancers
12 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. – Baile Illusion Folklorico Dancers
1 p.m. to 2 p.m. – Music by Louie Moya y La Gente
10 a.m to 2 p.m. – Show N Shine by Los Guys
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Free Street Corn by 3x Food Network Champion Chef Fernando Ruiz
The fair is a great place to bring your children to see all the animals being shown by 4H youth from Rio Arriba and Los Alamos Counties.
