Little Studio on the Mesa has been delighting customers with the option to create their own fused glass art. Fused glass is a fun art medium made by piecing together an image and firing it in the kiln overnight.
Since opening the studio at 113 Longview Drive in White Rock. owner Joanne Kozuchowski has hosted multiple fused glass workshops for adults and children alike. Students are guided through the process of glass cutting and assembly of an original art work
Fused glass classes offer a more in depth exploration of the art form and the opportunity to create more complex pieces.
“It has been a great pleasure to see the same faces come back multiple times to keep working with fused glass. I especially love the excitement on kids’ faces when they realize that they get to cut glass and work with a medium they may have never experienced before,” Kozuchowski said.
