Triatomics Multisport Club
Dear Los Alamos Athletes
Summer is in full swing and the Triatomics Multisport club’s (https://triatomics.org) Tuesday night road bike time trials and Wednesday night trail runs are underway. In addition, the club’s Splash and Dash (swim followed by a run) events are underway and we would like to invite you to participate in the three remaining ones (July 13, July 27, Aug 3).
Splash’N’Dash is the club’s most popular activities and is open to all ages from 0 to 100. It is also the perfect training activity for the Los Alamos Triathlon and an all-round great training activity. There is a youth course (100 yards swim, + 1 mile run), short course (200 yards swim + 3 km run) and long course (400 yard swim + 5 km run). Some folks come to do only one of the two events just to get a chance to hang out with friends.
Sign up will be from 6:20 p.m. to 6:50 p.m. at the back entrance to the pool (near the PEEC nature center side). Entry fee and prize money is ZERO. Non-club members must sign a liability waiver or you can sign up to be a member at the club website on the facebook page. Children must be supervised at all times as the run crosses driveways and no one will be present to stop or direct traffic.
Hope to see you there.
