The Los Alamos Little League 9, 10, 11 All Stars participated June 25-30 in the district tournament at Ragle Park in Santa Fe and took second place overall. On June 25, the team lost to Pojoaque 3-14, but came back June 28 to play againsy Espanola, winning 7-6 in the 6th inning with Joseph Gurule pitching. After eliminating Espanola from the double-elimination tournament, Los Alamos went on to win agains Pojoaque with a score of 26-12. On June 30 the team lost 0-12 to Santa Fe. This past week June 25-30,2022 the LA Little League 9,10,11 All Stars participated in the district tournament in Santa Fe at Ragle Park. On Saturday, the team lost to Pojoaque 3-14 but came back on Tuesday to play against Espanola. The team won 7-6 in the 6th inning with Joseph Gurule pitching. After eliminating Espanola from the double elimination tournament, LA went on to win against Pojoaque with a score of 26-12. On Thursday, LA played against Santa Fe and fell in a 0-12 loss. Overall the LA 9,10, 11 All Stars took 2nd place in the tournament and played hard. Los Alamos Little League is proud of all of their accomplishments and wishes to thank both the parents and the coaches for making this tournament a success.
