Traffic Delays Possible On 1-25 At Canyon Bridge Road For Next Three Weeks

The New Mexico Department of Transportation would like to alert the travelling public to a bridge rehabilitation project set to begin on Monday June 27 on I-25.

Kimo Constructors Inc, in conjunction with the New Mexico Department of Transportation are set to begin a bridge rehabilitation project on Canyon Ridge Road that spans I-25. The existing bridge superstructure will be raised and rehabilitated.

During peak commuter hours all lanes will be open for traffic. Peak commuter hours would be 7am to 9am northbound and 3pm to 6pm southbound.

Partial lane closures in either direction may occur between 5am and 11 pm, and full I-25 closures may occur between 11pm and 5am. In the event of a full I-25 lane closure traffic will be detoured to the La Cienega Interchange onto the East frontage road to Waldo Canyon Interchange back on to I-25.

Work is expected to be completed within 3 weeks. Please check for any updates.
