Michael James Erpenbeck, 61, passed away suddenly at his home on June 14, 2022. Michael was born on January 23, 1961 and was raised in Los Alamos, New Mexico by his parents, Jeanne and Jerry Erpenbeck. He graduated from New Mexico State University with a B.A in Accounting. Mike worked for over 30 years for the Pueblo of Pojoaque at Buffalo Thunder Casino.

Mike was preceded in death by his father Jerry Erpenbeck and will be lovingly remembered by his surviving family members: his mother, Jeanne, Dave and Debbie, his sister Debi, Dan and Elsa, Steve and Priya and son Josh, Greg and Heather and son Eli, Eric and Susan, and Kris and Kathy and their three children Kaitlin, Christine, and Tasha.

Mike loved animals and supported many animal organizations. His family, two dogs, and two cats will miss him dearly.

Mike has been reunited with the love of his life, Billie Bob Wakeman.

The Erpenbeck family has entrusted the gentle care of their loved one to Rivera Family Funerals & Cremations of Espanola, New Mexico.
