LAAC/FLAC NEWS RELEASE

Summer Art Camps at Fuller Lodge Art Center are in full swing! Our first two weeks of camp are almost over and we are looking ahead at an exciting summer of activities for kids from 1st-12th grade.

Newly-added classes include several ceramics classes for elementary students, some outdoor arts and crafts camps for the younger kids and we still have plenty of room in our Zia Credit Union Sponsored Writing Camp!

Does your kid love tabletop gaming? We have them covered! Join teacher David Daniel for Intro to DnD, Trading Card Games like Pokemon and Magic the Gathering, and some classes to take your TTRPGs to the next level.

If fine arts is more your jam, we have art teachers from Los Alamos Middle School and Santa Fe teaching classes to help you hone your skills all summer long.

The Los Alamos Arts Council was the recent recipient of a generous donation from local resident Antonio Maggiore to create the Carl Maggiore Memorial Scholarship Fund in memory of his late father. This fund helps us provide art camps, classes, and workshops at lowered costs, or no cost, to families who need them. We have given out over 15 scholarships this summer; more than $2,000 worth of camp! We need support to continue giving these scholarships as requested, so please consider donating either online at this link, or in person (with a note that it’s for the scholarship fund).

If you need a scholarship or any assistance selecting camps or classes for your student this summer, reach out to us at Classes@laac-flac.org and we are happy to help. For a full list of class offerings visit and follow our Facebook page and Eventbrite Collections.
