Please join in for some ChamberFest fun and celebrate our small businesses and organizations with live music, food vendors and lots for the kids to do!
Sponsored by Enterprise Bank & Trust and Los Alamos National Laboratory’s Community Partnerships Office, ChamberFest takes place this Saturday, June 4 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., in and around Central Park Square, right off Central Avenue. The Sand Pile, a ChamberFest favorite tradition, will be located between Don Taylor’s Photography Studio (181 Central Park Square) and SMSI (176 Central Park Square) for the kids to enjoy!
As a way to thank our firefighters, the tribute banner that has been hanging on the overpass will be available for the community to sign during the event. After ChamberFest, the banner will be delivered to Los Alamos Fire Chief Troy Hughes to share with the firefighters.
Pet Pangaea, LLC is sponsoring three dog pools on the grassy area near Boese Bros Brewpub and the Long Pour, for your crowd-friendly furry friends to enjoy! Be sure to visit Pet Pangaea, LLC while at ChamberFest.
Speaking of Boese Bros, they will be offering ChamberFest Mimosas and Bloody Marys for sale! Get yours, and a bite to eat while enjoying ChamberFest! They will open at 11a.m.
Also on the lawn, Del Norte Credit Union will be sponsoring the big blow-up slide for the kids to enjoy for free. Other fun-house attractions will also be set up, and can be enjoyed, but are ticketed.
While strolling ChamberFest, enjoy the community favorite Los Alamos Jazz Project playing from 10 a.m. until noon, and then the cool sounds of Professor Penguin from noon until 2pm.
Take a break under the growing hops at Bathtub Row Brewery Co-Op and enjoy their new beer: Dark Matter Coffee Mild!
RE/Max will have their shred truck from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Get your shredding done then stay for some fun! project Y cowork Los Alamos will be celebrating their 6th Anniversary during ChamberFest so stop in and checkout the best co-working space in Los Alamos!
Pop into the many Central Park businesses that will be open and visit the street fair booths of other Los Alamos businesses and non-profit organizations to play ChamberFest Bingo for a chance to win two tickets for the OneRepublic: Never Ending Summer Tour concert on August 23 in Albuquerque at the Isleta Amphitheater!
Don’t forget to visit Metzger’s Do It Best Hardware across Central Avenue. And the fun also continues just down the street at the United Church (Central Ave & Rose St) where there will be sand volleyball, the Thrift Shop will be open 10 a.m. -2 p.m., or you can try out the meditation walk and visit the Historic Landmark Chapel!
