SUMMER CONCERT SERIES NEWS RELEASE
This Friday on June 3rd, the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce celebrates ChamberFest with the Los Alamos debut of the sultry and dynamic soulful jazz and R&B songs of Kat Wright. Described as, “a young Bonnie Raitt meets Amy Winehouse.” Jazz aficionados won’t want to miss out on Kat Wright performing her soulful renditions of original music and familiar cover songs. Her voice is gritty and delicate, powerful but highly emotive. There’s soul flowing in and out of her rock ‘n’ roll with a serpentine seduction. Eryn Bent will be opening for Kat Wright. Singer-songwriter Eryn Bent has been enchanting audiences since age 14, with her powerhouse vocals and honest, true-to-life gritty songwriting. Marrying emotive lyrics and moving melodies, her autobiographical originals explore several genres, but cling strongly to the authenticity of folk and traditional country.
ChamberFest will be recognizing the: 2022 Retail Business of the Year, 2022 New Business of the Year Award, 2022 Non-Profit of the Year Award, Restaurant of the Year Award among other awards.
“ChamberFest is the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce annual street fair featuring only Chamber Members. At this event, businesses and nonprofits showcase their products and services for locals and visitors alike. ChamberFest hasn’t happened during the last two years due to the pandemic, and we are looking forward to bringing it back!” says Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce Director, Ryn Herrmann.
The Los Alamos Summer Concert Series Presented by Toyota of Santa Fe runs every Friday at Ashley Pond Park through Aug. 26.
